Review: This novel surely holds up to it’s reputation as being full of sex, secrets, and seduction. S. Valentine creates a world of intrigue in her novel, with Damien’s hot character, and her strong female lead, Gabi. I want to start of by saying that I loved S. Valentine’s writing style. I also really enjoyed the story line and the characterization was great. Every character stuck to who they were, which was realistic in my mind. My only problem with the novel was that some of the sex scenes just seemed like too much. They popped up at seemingly random times and lasted for many pages. I didn’t let this affect my rating of the novel, as I don’t often read erotica and may be biased. I ended up skimming some of the sex scenes, but the ones that I read were tasteful.

In my opinion the ending was a little predictable, but I like how Valentine evoked emotion from her readers. She definitely has a strong voice in her writing, and I would be interested in read more from her in the future.
